Humberto Brenes, born on May 8, 1951, started his gambling career with baccarat. But soon his realized his interest in poker and started playing tournaments in 1974. By the end of 1988, he was a regular professional poker player.

He has two WSOP bracelets in his pocket. Additionally, he has been to the final table of the World Poker Tour three times and has cashed more than 40 times at the WSOP. The most interesting part of his life is that his two brothers Alex Brenes and Erick Brenes both are in the same profession.

At present, his total winnings are more than $5,300,000 and he is considered one of the most charismatic poker players.
